Jen Caltone and Paul Outlaw’s sandcastle incorporated people posing atop a pile of sand and spitting out water from jugs. They were the winners of yesterday’s Creative Time Sandcastles challenge event in Rockaway Beach, Queens.
We’re guessing they were inspired by the Baroque fountains of Rome, like those in the Piazza Navone. Yes, that’s right … from Baroque Rome to Americana Folk.
